Community Cohesion Duty on Schools

The Education and Inspections Act 2006 introduced a duty on all maintained schools in England to promote community cohesion and on Ofsted, to report on the contributions made in this area. The duty on schools came into effect on 1 September 2007. thinkBRITE has developed a comprehensive programme to support school leaders and managers in reviewing and developing their school’s effectiveness in delivering community cohesion.
